I've been writing and designing product and content and strategies for online help content, in-product copy, tutorials, in-product messaging, new-user experiences, product tours, error messages, tooltips, and other types of product content for more than 8 years and love it! I also love finding opportunities to fill gaps and improve processes and find great joy in discovering little efficiencies in daily tasks. I find comfort in the unknown, thrive in ambiguity and appreciate teams that enjoy trying new things and collaborating on projects of all sizes. What drives me forward is the enjoyment and fulfillment I get out of helping others and advocating for responsible and equitable products are core to what I love about my work.

I've been a lead content designer on Meta products like Enterprise Finance, Instagram Lite for emerging markets and Instagram core for US and developed markets for the last 3+ years.

So there are like 4 teams touching new user experience in IG. 1. Onboarding - us! Handles general onboarding experience after registration -- things like notifications, feature activation, empty states (PM: Me/Nick/Tom) 2. Graph Experiences Early Friending workstream - helps drive early follows and explores interest graph strategy (PM: Tiffany Wong) 3. Growth Relevance - Horizontal team that works on new user ranking and recommendations models (works closely with reels, supporting unconnected content and end of feed work).. (PM: Zak Kapopolous) 4. NUX v-team (pretty much deprecated): formed before our time, combination of 2 and 3 to support EOF work!
